![]() The dyed streak and also bright red vibrance I don’t vibe with either. Her hair is technically time period okay, but I think its a bit too long to be accurate. (See short middle example) Niffty is short and wears an apron her dress is styled to the 50s since that was her time period. I won’t bother pointing out who checks off the list here, because the women, despite their similarities, have clearly different vibes. Now the female character checklist is slightly different but still holds similarities to the male checklist, though it is significantly less: Why is she wearing such torn-up gothic clothing when her husband and boss are dressed so professionally? At this point, seeing all the men in suits starts getting weird. Loona makes sense since she’s an angsty teen, but Millie? She’s a cowgirl who moved to a big city, employed as an assassin. However, the sheer amount of red (and the same shade of it at that) in his color scheme is blinding.īlitz dresses in a suit maybe because he runs a business now. Angel likes attention, and you’re telling me he just wears boots, suit, and gloves? He should stand out far more than that unless he’s TRYING to hide away and blend in, but he didn’t care at all that the news saw him in a territorial dispute when he was supposed to be a goody two shoes for the hotel, so that point is moot.Īlastor is the only one who would genuinely wear a suit due to his time period and personality. He’s in the show biz now, and he likes it. Some characters however, like Husker for example, who was circa 1960-1970… this is the typical fashion for men at that time. Again, naturally, some of these men will wear suits because they are either businessmen or grew up in time periods which is what the typical fashion was back then. Personally, attire and the color red are the biggest issues. So even though he is high on the male-character-repeats list, his redesign actually works for him. As a scientist, he has to wear boots and gloves as a safety procedure and anglerfish have naturally sharp teeth! The red in his color scheme helps with the contrast so his eyes and glasses stand out and his fish appearance has so much more character than his initial human appearance. He unfortunately is still a 6/8 however, because he is an animal, his body is thin aka twink, he has gloves, a hat I find unnecessary, sharp teeth, and red eyes & glasses. (people like trans headcanons for this for Baxter) and Because he’s a scientist, he is dressed in a dark lab coat and the speckles and buttons are designed to resemble a ship’s or submarine’s windows. He is now an angler fish, which is ironic but also highly interesting since he has the female angler fish design rather than a male. However, his redesign scrapped that look and focused more on the nature of his death rather than who he used to be or what time he lived in. However, he is dressed as an onboard concierge since he drowned on a ship. (Ironic because he’s not a main character…) Now his initial design is again, a suit and hat. He’s visibly shorter than the rest of the men, which immediately makes him stand out. Stolas, Moxxie, Striker(?), Asmodeus, Fizzarolli(?), Seviathan(?), Wally Wackford and Baxter are 6/8īlitzo’s father Cash, Andrealphus, and Tom Trench are 4/8Īgent One, Collin, Vortex, and Millie’s father Joe, are 3/8Īnd Cletus, the little angel boy, is 1/8 …behold, the ideal vivziepop male character who embodies the least of her repetitions(she might not have even designed him) : These features may not always be a problem, but they are repetitive and they are easy to spot.Īlastor, Angel Dust, Husker, Sir Pentious, and Lucifer are 8/8 for these, while other characters have a few points less. ![]() There’s a big pattern to her main character's design. Viv got really defensive on twitter over this a few months back and a lot of people, including Viv herself misunderstood the criticism. Excited someone asked! (Oh boy, prepare yourselves)
